There's no stop to roamingIt had been moons ago, but Khufu still remembered the day. He was sick of all the bloodshed and bloodletting in those bloody wars of Nublestia. When did Ahuizotl know to stop? Never. His brother had wanted to conquer the world. It was in that fateful skirmish with the big cats when he had abandoned his post as general. Khufu Khan had fled, leaving his brother to fend for himself. He kept on telling himself that Ahuizotl wasn't all alone; he had bodyguards, too, but that was the day when Khufu had let his older brother down: Ahuizotl died at the claws of a wild cat. Sighing wistfully, Khufu shook the dregs of the past from his shoulders and continued on. It wasn't his fault Ahuizotl was a warmonger... ...until you want to stop

Sam, a dark gray dire wolf, padded along side of his smaller friend. The wolf heard the sigh from Khufu. " You okay?" Sam watched for the reaction but then he scented some deer straying close to their location.

There's no stop to roaming"Nothing, Sam," Khufu answered, pushing away the dark thoughts. The dire wolf's head raised as the scent of deer came, his eyes curious. "Sounds like lunch is on their way. Do you want to try and get it?" ...until you want to stop

" Sure, why not," Sam grinned at his friend. He knew that Khufu was hiding something but he was kind enough not to pry the information out of him. " Lets go."

There's no stop to roamingHis lope was easy as he made his way towards the deer herd. However, he had flattened himself to below the level of the grass. Only his sharp eyes could be the only thing seen by the deer if they tried to look hard. Khufu licked his lips; this would make a satisfying meal. Flicking his tail, the dire wolf turned to see if Sam was ready and in position. ...until you want to stop

Sam was ready. He spotted an injured doe limping behind the rest. " Easy prey," he muttered. This deer wouldn't be much but it would keep them on their feet.

There's no stop to roamingLicking his lips in anticipation, he moved off the the left, making sure to keep his shoulders down. Khufu could see the limping doe straggling behind. Once they cut it off and run it down, it had no chance against two dire wolves. ...until you want to stop

" Ready?" Sam asked in his position. The dire wolf waited for the signal from Khufu. His stomach was craving for food.

There's no stop to roamingWith a flick of his bushy dark gray tail, Khufu gave an imperceptible nod at Sam and charged forward, stocky legs pounding at the ground. He came in at the right of the herd, so that Sam would get the left. He saw the said doe in his sight, and put in an extra spurt of speed to overtake her and cut her off. ...until you want to stop

Sam shot off to the left side of the doe. He stayed toward the back of the deer since Khufu decided to take the front.
